Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving and with this, I wanted to express how grateful I am for the people and things in my life.
I have an awesome life partner; he is a fabulous husband, friend and father. We have been through ups and downs and through it all we have arrived at a place where I only fall more deeply in love with him every day, he is my best friend and I am amazed how it only keeps getting better. He is a very loving and supportive man – he is my rock as I am working to change the direction of what I “do” in my “work” life. I cannot express how grateful and appreciative I am for this support. Oh.. and he is SO funny – he makes me laugh every day!
My daughter, who will be 7 in a couple weeks… there aren’t words to describe the deepness of love I have for her. I am proud of her kindness, her light and her ability to teach me and her
father something about life and about ourselves each and every day. She is full of joy and love and every moment I am with her brings a level of happiness to my world that glows bright. We have a house full of love – our dog (Luna) and chinchilla (Mischief) add love, fun, and light to our daily routine.
My extended family – parents, brother and sister-in-law add flavor and love to my life. The Saturday morning walks with my father and the subsequent morning coffee and hot bread with Daemon and Aliera are cherished and held close to my heart. We enjoy the gatherings with my dad and “mom” – we love conversation, food and wine – A LOT!! The conversations with my
brother who has decided that he enjoys sweating (he lives in Arizona now) are also cherished; Aliera does many things that remind me of him – we all miss him and Mee Sook. The growth that my brother has experienced since being away makes me extremely proud of him; I know it probably drives him crazy that I always see him as my “little” brother and that he is “kiddo” to me. I want him to know how very proud of him I am proud of how he leads his life, how he strives to be better every day. I am thankful for the great conversations I get into with my mom – she shares the love of personal development and we often can start talking and not end until hours later. It is great to watch her manifest things in her life – she teaches me many things! I am glad for “pops” being in her life. He is a great man – I love to watch him play with Aliera; his playfulness brings joy to our visits together.
I have a great wonderful friend that I have known now for 10 years; she was there for me as I went through some very tough times and has one of the biggest hearts I know and am eternally
grateful for her friendship. She met and married a wonderful man that I just love and believe that they so balance each other. We also love getting together for conversation and food – the “Chefs Dinners” are always looked forward to.
Our neighborhood and neighbors are absolutely awesome, friends, safety and beauty all wrapped up in one.
The Denver Waldorf community. WOW – it has brought an element to my life and that of my family that is tough to describe fully. The word community does do it justice at some level. We have met so many wonderful people and our daughter is growing up with so much love around her that it brings a huge level of joy to my heart. There are some true friends
hips that have evolved and get stronger every day. I get a huge sense of fulfillment of helping this school and community. The education that it provides the children just plain ROCKS. The quality and intelligence level as well as the strong sense of self that the school builds gives these kids the ability to change our world.
I am so grateful for having Law of Attraction bring a business into my life that allows me to submerge myself in my passion of personal development. The business is changing my life and is allowing me to pull myself out of a comfort zone and work on doing something different in my life. There are so many wonderful people associated with this company and I love what it stands for. It gives back to the world with a real desire to make a difference. There are schools that have been built, pools that have been maintained, and kids that have teddy bears and bikes due to the activity that the representatives of this company performed. It is a great company to be a part of and am thankful that it has fallen in my path!
Facebook friends… is it cool or what? There has been some reconnection with friends from High School and also the meeting of total strangers that through some common interests have allowed me to connect to some really awesome people. It has helped build relationships that without the personal sharing on FB that would have taken longer to build.
I know I could go on and on about things that I am grateful for, however… this is a special day to enjoy putting a meal together that can be shared by family… So, now — off to enjoy this day!!
